OverviewThe museum with the large green roof was designed by a first-class designer whose specialty is the formation and environmental design. The space of the second floor overlooks basin-like the flat green roof and the exhibition space is made in the walking-through style where visitors can appreciate works while walking in a courtyard.
It houses about 350 collections, including mainly Japanese paintings and Western paintings, in addition to the permanent exhibition relating to each theme of "Four Seasons", special exhibitions are held.
