Coho Salmon Specialty Kappo Uchiwarabe

This is a coho salmon restaurant located in Sentsuku, an old private house complex that opened in 2020. You can enjoy a variety of domestic coho salmon in a space that retains the atmosphere of a Showa-era wooden house.

The owner, Yosuke Uchida, has a wealth of experience as a chef both in Japan and the United States where they eat a lot of salmon, and he said that he rediscovered the deliciousness of Japanese salmon through his experience. They serve many dishes including sashimi using silver salmon that can be eaten raw grown in Ishinomaki Bay in Miyagi Prefecture.

A dish that uses plenty of salmon roe and homemade steamed dumplings are also popular. He is particular about domestic sake and offers a wide variety of them. He regularly travels to rural areas and devotes himself to discovering new ingredients and high-quality sake.

“Sentsuku” aims to promote interaction between creators of things and events, and the local community and people. How about enjoying new encounters with Uchiwarabe's cuisine?
