The famous confectionery shop in Adachi was opened in 2014 by Chef patisserie Kitanishi who has trained himself in France, the home of sweets and at famous hotels in Tokyo.
Mr. Kitanishi who has won domestic and international contests, has a belief in sweets with a lovely design and a gentle taste.
The sweets made by the chef are loved by a wide range of generations from children to the elderly.

Marionet pastry shop (Marionetto Yogashiten)
A sweet space full of seasonal items and pleasure of choice
The shop has been 17 years since it moved to Adachi after starting business in Hachioji.
The triangular shaped roof is the characteristic of the Western-style building, creating a romantic atmosphere. The site is surrounded by greenery such as trees and flowers, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Western-style confectionery uses high-quality domestic ingredients and is homemade by craftsmen with great care.
With a sense of the season, limited cakes made with plenty of seasonal fruits such as white peaches, melons, pears, and persimmons are inevitably sold out.
Fruits are bought directly from wholesalers in Toyosu, so the prices are reasonable.

Delicious sweets and the smile of the owner couple loved by the locals
It has been 12 years since the shop opened. A cake shop in a town run by a couple.
Good smell of baked sweets in the air invites you to enter the shop, and you will see a bright smile of Mrs. Yoko Sato welcoming you.
Handmade pop is also lovely, and it has a homely atmosphere that even small children can enjoy.
The shop is particular about fresh baked confectionery that is baked each time, said Mr. Yutaka, the owner pastry chef.
It is also recommended for souvenirs and gifts.

Ogiso cafe
Nostalgic and new fashionable cafe
Reopened in September 2021.
A local construction company renovated an old house, turning the second floor into an office and the first floor into a cafe.
You can enjoy different atmospheres depending on where you sit in the deep shop, which utilizes the structure of the house as it is.
All sweets are homemade. They are particular about tableware, and have a lineup of menus that match the atmosphere of the café, such as melon soda and classic pudding.
While seeing the polite work of the Israeli chef Shari and the staff, having a little conversation is one of the fun.
