Overview | It is the Japanese garden surrounded by stone wall, Tsukiji fence made by hardening mud and a moat. The garden lanterns such as Yukimi-toro or short stone lanterns and Kasuga-toro tall stone lanterns are put here and there in the garden, which makes a good atmosphere. You can also enjoy seeing various flowers of each season. Oukatei, the meeting facility built in harmony with the pond, has tearooms, Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms. They are used for various events such as traditional Japanese art, tea ceremony or a koto as well as lectures and training meetings and parties. The adjoining Hanahata Park has about 120 cherry trees, which attracts many cherry-blossom viewers every year. |
