Inariyama-Rengein-Kannon-ji temple is the Buzan school of Shingon Buddhism.
The temple is dedicated to Eleven-faced Kanzeon Bosatsu made around 1624~44.
A statue of Fudo Myoo (Acala) and two statues of Zen masters are also enshrined here. Kannon-ji is the ancestral temple of the Kaneko family, because it is said that Kaneko gohei, who developed the area of Goheishinden (current 4,7-chome Ayase, 4-chome Nishi-Ayase, 3-chome Aoi, etc.) with others in the early Edo period and founded the temple. Kaneko gohei was given a Buddhist name reflected his contribution as a developer after his death of the 5th October 1627. His tomb is registered as one of tangible cultural assets in Adachi. Some soldiers of Shinsengumi stationed in Goheishinden, stayed at this temple in March 1868.
