【Grilled Hatahata with salt 780 yen ~ / Iburigakko assorted 550 yen】 Hatahata in mid-November to mid-January has plenty of roe. Popping texture and taste of a plain meat are delicious. Yokote specialty, Iburigakko is also popular. 
A homely atmosphere with the traditional folk style furniture reminiscent of an old private house.

Founded in 1972 as a restaurant serving Japanese food and local dishes. After gradually increasing the number of local dishes from the owner's hometown of Akita, it became a popular restaurant nicknamed "Akitaya-san." We serve Hinai chicken yakitori, Hatahata, junsai, seasonal wild vegetables, and other ingredients delivered directly from Akita in a home-cooked atmosphere using traditional Japanese cooking techniques. We keep a lot of Akita's local sake, from standard to brands that can only be got locally. A restaurant where you can fully enjoy Akita throughout the four seasons.
