Chinese noodle Watai
This is a shop in front of Kita-Ayase Station where tsukemen fans visit from inside and outside Adachi City. The owner, Hiroshi Watai, opened his own shop in 2008 with the desire to serve homemade noodles at his own shop since he was training at a ramen shop. Not only the noodles, but also the soup, char siu, which are carefully prepared every day, tsukemen have become a signature menu, and many comments were praised for the high degree of perfection in the "Shining Shop Selection".
The noodles are specially ordered from Nagano Prefecture, which is rarely distributed outside the prefecture, and durum semolina flour used for pasta is also added, giving it a chewy and slippery texture. The soup is boiled for 13 hours, mainly from pork bones, and soup made from bonito flakes and dried sardines is also added. The soup with the condensed flavor of the dashi brings out the deliciousness of the noodles. The thickly-sliced pork belly char siu also has a special taste. The takeout service, which was started in the wake of the corona crisis, is also popular.
