The cordial in the photo is a syrup made from goji berries and pomegranate. In addition to carbonated drinks, you can also order it with water or hot water. The plum syrup is expected to sell out by the beginning of autumn, but kumquat syrup will be available in winter. 
[Thick-sliced bread, fruit and ice cream 715 yen, iced tea 440 yen] The 5cm thick toast is made with bread from Blanca, a popular bakery in Shikahama. It is recommended as a dessert or a meal. The fruits on the bread change depending on the season (the photo shows summer). During lunch time, it is 1,100 yen with a drink set. 
The cafe is run by three mothers, including the owner, Kaji-san. Daily baked goods such as scones and muffins are also popular.

This cafe opened at the end of 2021 near Takano Station. "We place great importance on creating an atmosphere where people, whether alone, with their families, or the elderly, can feel at ease,'' says locally born owner Tomomi Kaji.
The sweets and food that are carefully made one by one are popular, but the recommended ones are the homemade plum syrup made with just rock sugar and plum fruit, and the fruity carbonated drink made with the traditional British syrup "cordial." The cordial is pickled with seasonal fruits and herbs and is gentle on the body, with seven different flavors to choose from. The fluffy bubbles blend with the fruit flavor, making it both refreshing to look at and to drink. Every sip fills you with a refreshing sensation. The crunchy and fragrant thick-sliced toast topped with fruits and ice cream is also perfect for cafe time.
