Traditional Japanese restaurant Hikokawa
Traditional Japanese restaurant with a 45-year history, noted for delicious eels
It is a well-known hidden restaurant with many customers, located a little away from the station. Using eels from Kagoshima and Miyazaki procured from a long-established river fish wholesaler in Minami-Senju, the eels that are delicately baked and finished with a mellow sauce are exquisite. There is also a menu of tempura and fresh fish, and the taste is good. The owner who entered the world of Japanese food in his teens and his wife, and their honest son run a restaurant with a homely atmosphere, which is also attractive.
