"TRiP - Rakugo x Ukiyo-e" 5th Theme: Snow

date November 16th 6:00 PM-8:30pm

The 5th "TRiP - Rakugo x Ukiyo-e" will be held. November is the beginning of winter, and it is the season when you can hear the footsteps of winter approaching. The theme for this event is "Snow".

Just as snow, moon, flowers, and the beauty of nature in each season are celebrated, snow is sometimes a threat, but it is also one of the most representative beauties of winter. "Snow" can be difficult to express in words or pictures. Why not visit "TRiP - Rakugo x Ukiyo-e" and experience the world of "snow" that is richly expressed in Rakugo and Ukiyo-e? This time, all the TRiP members will take you to another world, or rather, a world of snow?!

What is "TRiP" - a Rakugo event where Rakugo and Ukiyo-e meet?

"TRiP" is a "rakugo gathering where rakugo and ukiyo-e meet" created by three people: Yanagiya Aoma, Watanabe Akira, and Honya Shan. By crossing genres and traversing rakugo and ukiyo-e, each of them wants to enjoy both even more! And to spread the appeal of rakugo and ukiyo-e! The team was formed with this desire.

Each time, a theme will be decided, and Yanagiya Aoma will respond with a rakugo story, while Watanabe Akira will respond with an ukiyo-e story, providing plenty of fun with rakugo and ukiyo-e.

The venue is the approximately 100-year-old Nakacho House located in Kita-Senju, a post town from the Edo period. Let's TRiP to another world together in the Edo period at a house in Nakacho House!
