Kita Adachi Market is a market for fruits, vegetables, and flowers. It was the first Tokyo Central Wholesale Market to handle flowers, and even today, the auction is still conducted by hand.
In this class, you will learn about the facilities and structure of Kita Adachi Market, seasonal flowers, and have the opportunity to experience arranging flowers in a vase.

*There is no parking lot for general visitors on the premises. Please use public transportation.
*If you are traveling by bicycle, please use the bicycle parking lot within the market.
3. Target
Approximately 10 groups of elementary school students (up to 2 people) and their guardian (1 person) (If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held.)
4. Event details
(1) Tour of the market facilities (actual auctions will not be observed)
(2) Market introduction (video screening)
(3) Introduction to seasonal flowers, demonstration of dyeing flowers, and experience arranging flowers in a vase
As a sign of support for the disaster-stricken areas, we plan to introduce flowers from the disaster-stricken areas. (Depending on the supply situation, we may not be able to prepare these.) You can take the vases and flowers home with you.
