Galerie Petit Bonheur

This event has ended

date October 19-November 3

A place where you can find relaxation in your daily routine, a place where you can experience small moments of happiness (Petit Bonheur).

Petit Bonheur, a store specializing in freshly squeezed orange juice and croissants, has opened a gallery for Tokyo University of the Arts students.
This is an eat-in space where paintings and sculptures are exhibited in a dazzling, sunlit white studio.

We regularly exhibit work by Tokyo University of the Arts students, but this is our first group exhibition.

Artist name and production concept

・Hasemi Neneko
Interested in the relationship between his own body and the outside world, he mainly conducts research through physical movement. His activities focus on living simply and true to one's heart in today's complex society.

・Nao Maeda
In modern communication, the object may seem clear, but there is often no substance to it. In this environment, I measure the distance between myself and other people, and the distance between myself and the world, and reaffirm my own position. My work is based on the theme of exploring the blurred exterior and the complex interior.

・Kasai Wako
His paintings and photographs focus mainly on places where plants grow and plants that have come into human hands as objects. Through his work, he considers the role that humans entrust to non-artificial objects and the boundary between intentional and involuntary acts.
