Artist Profile

・Yusuke Takamori

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 2000

2024/Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in Japanese painting.
Currently in his first year of master's studies at the same graduate school.

Using shifted and layered images and coloring with mineral pigments, I aim for non-concreteness and complexity, and explore the imagery that can be expressed. In my recent work, I am thinking about the margins, the ground, and the image, based on the "Crane-drawn Thirty-six Immortal Poets Waka Scroll" and foil foot.
